CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

We invite all early career researchers from the field of Digital and Surface Technologies to submit abstracts for oral and/or poster presentations. 

Oral presentations will be for a total of 15 min including Q&A session. You would be given a chance to present your poster at the conference and talk about it for 5 min. 

  • Oral Presentations: 10-15 min
  • Posters Presentations: 5 min

Please note that you can apply only for one of the above. People who have applied for oral presentation would also be considered for poster presentation. If you wish to be considered only for oral presentation, please indicate in the Abstract form. Please note that first year PhD students who started their PhD’s in Autumn 2020 (Sept 2020) will only be considered for poster presentation. 

There is only one abstract form for both oral and poster presentations.

Please send expression of interest (title and abstracts) for oral and poster presentations to Pamila Sharma by 1 March 2021, 5 pm at the latest. 

 ABSTRACT CRITERIA

A single page abstract is expected. Abstracts should not be more than 250 words with text style of 11pt Arial or they should be able to fit on a single page with all standard formatting intact within the abstract form. You may include an image, however it should not exceed the single page limit.  Please send your abstracts in Microsoft document format ONLY.

POSTER CRITERIA

An A4 size poster is expected in a PDF format. Text should be legible.

SELECTION NOTIFICATION

You should be notified by mid March 2021, if you have been selected.

Digitalisation of coating could also be seen as that of coating processes as well as coating properties. • We need to educate people on what do we mean by digitalisation in coating sector and how can we bring about the cultural change.
